A motorbike tour designed to enjoy the best places of La Provence and roll along the most beautiful roads of The Alps. A motorbike trip full of unique experiences: a wine tasting in the middle of the vineyards, a rafting descent, a stroll around a Marché Provençal, a visit to Pont du Gard– human heritage monument declared by the UNESCO– and to finish there will be a one of a kind sensory show.

Day 1: La Junquera – Avignon, big entrance
After meeting the group in La Junquera, we will initiate the journey to the amazing Pont du Gard, a Roman masterpiece. We will visit it and we will have lunch with spectacular views. Next, we will start our journey again to arrive to Avignon, city of the art, the history and very cosmopolitan. We will do a guided tour with a ticket to the famous Pont d’Avignon and le Palais des Papes. Dinner and night in a charming square in the old town. 300 kms.
Day 2: Avignon – Villard de Lans, on the way to the Alps
After breakfast we will initiate our pre-alpes route. Leaving the vineyards behind, we will do our first stop in a provençal village full of history. Later we will continue to go round to get into the natural park Vercors. We will have lunch on the way between mountain harbours and amazing gorges. In the afternoon we will visit a cave of great beauty. Continuing across dreamy roads, we will arrive to our destination: Villard de Lans, a pretty ski station where we will have specialities of the mountain as a dinner and we will spend the night. 240 kms
Day 3: Villard de Lans – Embrun, on mountain roads
Once we have had breakfast, we will start our mountain route in The Alps.
A climb to Col de la Croix de Fer, Col du Télégraphe and Col du Galibier. 3 mountain harbours that form famous routes from the France Tour. There will be a stop to have lunch in a cozy place. In the afternoon we will visit the fortified city Briançon, with narrow and precipitous streets. Finally, we will arrive to our destination, Embrun, where we will spend the night having regionals specialities as a dinner and sleeping there. 260 kms
Day 4: Embrun, day without motorbike
After breakfast, let the adrenalin begin! A rafting activity across the river that goes to Embrun is waiting for us. Enjoyment and adventure are guaranteed! To finish the activity we will have lunch with the feet almost in the water. The afternoon and the dinner will be free but with some options: motorbike trip to the highest village in Europe or afternoon of shopping and stroll in Embrun enjoying the Music Party that will have place that night. With food stands and music in the street, you will spend a nice evening.
Day 5: Embrun – Visan, getting into La Provence
Once we have had breakfast, we will leave The Alps to get into la Provenza.
After Embrun, we will go around Serre-Ponçon lake with splendid views. Through L’Eygues Gorges we will arrive to a little village in the middle of the vineyards to taste a provençal lunch. Next, we will arrive to Visan, where a wonderful activity will start: a visit and a wine tasting in a private wine cellar. To crown the day, we will have dinner and a beautiful night in a private house. 220 kms
Day 6: Visan– L’Isle sur la Sorgue, with a climb to Mont Ventoux
After the breakfast, we will initiate another mountain climbing, Mont Ventoux, also called Giant of Provence. Curve after curve, between forest and desert peak, we will change the mountain across lavander fields. Guaranteed contrasts. We will arrive to Sault, capital of the lavender and turron. Coffee, shops, photos and visit to the Turron factory. We will keep doing our tour around spectacular Nesque Gorges that will carry us to a little village where we will have lunch with beautiful views. We will continue, later, through the provençal countryside until we arrive to L’Isle sur la Sorgue, a city surrounded by water, where we will have dinner and spend the night. 140 kms.
Day 7: L’Isle sur la Sorgue – Arles, across the villages of Lubéron
After breakfast, a very busy day is waiting for us. We will arrive to Gordes through nice roads, where we visit an old town made by dry stones. Afterwards we will keep ascending Col de Murs until we arrive to Roussillon, an ochre town. Coffee, shops and photos.
We will start our route again to jump from village to village in the middle of el Luberon. We will stop to have lunch on the way in a original place. Again, we will stop in one of the most touristic villages of the region: St Rémy de Provence. And we will continue our way to witness a one of a kind sensorial show. We will finish our day having dinner in the beautiful city Arles, where we will stay in a hotel with included spa in front of a Roman Forum. 130 kms
Day 8: Arles – La Junquera, back to Spain
In the morning, after breakfast, we will make a small visit to Arles and its renowned provenzal market. Afterwards, we will set out on our return to La Junquera where we will arrive shortly before the lunch. 260 kms (Total: 1550 kms)

All the movements will be done in your own motorbike, excepting the indicated days “without motorbike”.
All the breakfasts, lunches and dinners are included, excepting the one that are indicated in the section “Dates & Prices”.
The accommodation will be done in high quality hotels, where the breakfast will be available.
Along the trip, the participants will have to carry their baggage. Although there will be a support vehicle during all the trip, under no circumstances baggage will be left in it.
We recommend you to adapt the clothes to the season when you carry out the trip, however you will find a list as you can see below:

Health and formalities
Travellers should have a good physical shape and be used to travelling by motorbike for several days.
Passport, Visa, International Motor Insurance Card System and required documentation:
To travel to France, people with Spanish nationality do not need the passport, the ID is enough.
The International Motor Insurance Card System is essential to travel out of Spain. It is the international policy and it is normally facilitated with the ordinary policy.
Vehicles should have ITV in force.
The vehicle’s documentation should have the name of the person who is travelling with it. In case the vehicle has the name of another owner, an authorisation and a photocopy of the ID card to legalize the authorisation will be necessary.
France is a quite safe country, nonetheless, it is not convenient to relax with the security measure that we usually take when we travel to any part of the world. It is recommended not to leave anything of value in the baggage.
Motorbikes will spend the night in enclosed areas, either in the hotel or under a security agent hired by the agency. It does not involve Ruta Cero Tours assuming any responsibilities in case any robbery is produced.
